Correction: Retail Fx in America is a scam. Refco Canada is just fine thank you very much, and nobody lost money here, also Refco India also fine... Refco Congo, Burundi..... all fine, but only in America retail fx clients get robbed and their money will be handed over to Bank of America, Wells Fargo and other "poor" creditors. Great job Judgde Drein or whatever your name is, I sure didn't expect you to order money to be returned to small retail investors. Same as your president, take it from the poor and give it to the rich.
Quote Just today I received a copy of a claim letter in the mail from the bankruptcy court handling the RefcoFX bankruptcy proceedings. FXCM walked away from the deal because the Creditors put up too many roadblocks. A shame, really, because it would have been the best solution for account holders.
Posted on www.RefcoFX.com under the "View Notice" link. ----------------------------------------- "As noted above, it is possible that the Bankruptcy court will have a different view on this issue than that of RFXA. Therefore, customers who continued to trade on refcofx.com cannot be assured that if their account balances have declined since October 17, 2005, they would not be required to compensate the bankruptcy estate for trading losses or that if their account balances have increased since October 17, 2005, they would recover the full amount of the gain reflected in their account statements. " ----------------------------------------- Amazing........If you traded your frozen account since the bankruptcy you might have to pay back any losses. I wonder what jimrockford has to say about this? He was right about RefcoFX from day one.
Where is Trader God in all this????? You'd think he would come back and say. Woops guys, I guess I was wrong, wrong, wrong. Let's all expatiot our money to Canada. The U.S. Goverment dosn't beleive in the rights of property owners anymore. And having any property in the U.S. is Risky.
Trader/God was correct to say Funds are safe in the topic. The funds are safe, but not with the account holders.
I bet more money has been lost in "regulated markets". One example would be ET member Multioption option plays, I think his current July AMD call trade is down 95%.
