  1. here are other ideas for you get your customers.

    1. Idea 1: order brokers by size, and commission.
Run an ad that says something like:
"If you trade with X, I have good news for you. Just call Joe at"
If you do not trade with X, call joe I have 2 good news for you.

    2. Idea 2: send a letter to all accountants in your area. Tell them about what you will do, and that if they can put you in contact with potential clients then they will get your business and a finder fee or something.

I got many othe ideas like this.

Of course you can contact you brokers. Money can make him talk, if he did not yet learn how to talk. The language of business is money (not english). The language of science is math, etc..

Please clarify what you mean by "order brokers by size, and commission"

Great ideas, accountants know many people looking for alternative investments. Are you familiar with investment law or know a lawyer that specializes in it in Canada? i have to figure out how to structure it, if i allow investors, how many, etc.

    Any ideas on that?

    Thanks!

Sounds great! Do you have any ideas? What would you be looking for out of a place like this? As a trader? As an investor?

  8. Are you currently profitable?

Briefly describe your own trading history and results.

  9. An arena type office would be sweet, with less of a formal type feel. A cheaper place at first would be great, and if it was profitable move it into a nicer office space.

I'm looking at this from a trader's perspective, because I don't think it would be a great investment...but I could be wrong.

You would need quite a few names on the roster before commiting to a spot. What are you thinking desk fees would be?

Definatley an open floor plan setup so traders can communicate easily. I'm still figuring out the desk fees structure. Im thinking a shared cost type of thing, short term lease maybe like lease for 2-3 months at a time? Shared cost would be nice but I wouldn't want to have to run around trying to get money from people.

If traders are using their own risk capital, they coul just simply share costs. If traders are using our risk capital, they share their profits. I know as a trader if I made 100k for a firm i would be happy with at least 50% of that.

The firm would have to be worth if for investors as well. The idea would be to give traders access to more capital, using OPM to help them make more money. There's a big difference to the end paycheque if you are trading a good system on 10 mio then on 100k. Even if you only have 100k and are getting a percentage of the profits earned on the 10 mio, your pay cheque would be much bigger. Still working out the numbers. Any ideas? As a trader what kind of payout would you think would be fair if all our money? If using some your money most our money? A scaled approach i think would be wise.

I would be committed to the personal success of the traders, because their success would mean everyone's success, and I know what it's like to work for companies where it's all about their bottom line, not yours. I would want it to be a place that myself as a trader would be excited to work at, because I'm making a tonne of money, and have access to a tonne of money to make even more, while at the same time I am generating great returns for investors giving me a sense of purpose.

If you help enough people get what they want you can have anything you want right?

Most investors if they can get 20-30% a year and it doesn't get taxed to hell would be very happy with that.
