Yes, I check them out 2 or 3 times daily prior to each market opens just to see what R/S others are looking at. I also grab the calendar of next week's economic data before the market opens for the week on Sunday. The headline news are a bit out of date. The market usually moved long before they report it. But it is the place where I look for an explanation if any.
When the market is slow, I usually find some time to read Reuters currency news at Yahoo Finance. http://biz.yahoo.com/reports/currency.html
Just so you know http://www.forexnews.com/ is apart of a broker http://www.mgforex.com/ If your actually trading the FX market I would recommend a FX platform that actually integrates real-time forex & economics news. Something like WebTrader (Forex) from http://www.infotecnet.com/ which is about $175/month. They have a 10 day trial for $10 to check it out last time i looked. Biggest problem is navigating the website the first time trying to find out about the products they offer, here's a link to that product http://www.infotecnet.com/site2001/SiteContent.asp?M=3&S0=0&CS0NL=TRUE&S1=1&CS1NL=TRUE Also its a windows app not a browser based product. p.s. Not recommending this product, just putting up an option (if I think of any others I will post).
