FX Market open at Sunday 1:40pm EST

  2. Not desperate though. i got long at 1.3490 and 1.3620 via FXE options. Alittle above water on the trade.

    The trend is done. This is no longer a trend trade.

  3. Australia is open now but the volume is still very low..

    be careful trading these "Sunday" moves.. once liquidity returns with Europe session could easily see any gains reversed within minutes

  4. fx brokers set their own hours including holiday closures

    Oanda offers 24/365 trading tho there's usually no trading on Saturdays
    trades are sometimes made quite early on Sunday, but
    the spread on the euro for instance might be 10pips, dropping as it gets
    closer to the Asian open to .9 the usual rth spread

    Yes I do know what 1:40pm EST means, hence my question of
    "Is it 1.40pm in every single city on Earth?"

    If we assume that you were referring to 1.40pm on the east coast of the USA (although you could have been referring to 1:40pm EST in many other countries), then the day / time in Wellington was Monday 7:40am.
