Dead market time hasn't produced a dead market. This move downward today late in the session should be viewed as significant.

I imagine there will be movement later today. I am staying short based upon my weekly charts. Euro FX, Pound, Aussie. Stops well away( and I mean well away) from the market where "noise" will not hit them.

  7. I went long the Pound, Euro and Yen on some techincal entries earlier at around 7:30 AM or so and scalped for profits on each. I am sorry I did not get to post in real time do we could discuss it as I was doing a few things at once.

Of course I should have let them run with stops lol....

Yes--trailing stops would be better I think. However, you nailed some profit? Right now, I am trading for position only, but will take a good looking intraday when it appears--that is if I am at the keyboard.

Anyone else see these currency markets as a longer term shortsided affair or do you just think I am shortsighted?

Ok. Out for the rest of the day-- Walking away from the keyboard-- Got things to do, so I'll just remain with the positional short positions. Good luck to all!
