I'm gonna say something nice for once. I think Padu has a reasonably good grounding in TA, will say this, it appears he has spent considerable time studying trading, full marks for that, cannot fault his dedication. But Padu's problem is probably in application, has the theory but not the skills to implement all that goes into pulling the triggers at the right times. Possibly Padu loses concentration and focus, too twitchy and impatient, too reactive to too many signals. I wish you the best Padu, I wish I could help you, but you and everyone else knows the trading is an endeavour we can only sort out ourselves from within. Carry on, sorry for the distraction.
'Too impulsive' was the words I was looking for. Also there is no point jumping from one idea to the next continually. An issue which may arise is, coming up with a profitable strategy and then not following through with it because you have in the meantime found another new trading toy to play with. Being focused and bedding down your winners (profitable methods) is critical. Bedding down winners means to follow through to make it a permanent tool in your toolkit. Jumping here and there always looking for the next best and better excitement shows a lack of maturity. The desire to always visit the green field next door is not gonna work out.
you are right each one chooses his destination. you are right i have been jumping from one to another but that is because i know it was not really what i wanted. I have found vpa to satisfy my basic need to understand what the market is doing to have confidence in my trading. so the jumping will stop. i know all you have my best interest at heart and i seriously thank you and all the rest who have gone to great pains to post for my benefit
using tick volume in live trading and making 400% in one week is factual......but you will say it is only one week. putting it in a thread on ET makes it factual, is it? believe what ever you want
Steidelmeyer used tic volume for Market Profile. But the secret to MP had more to do with time than volume IMO.
Padutrader, I'll give you the best advice I can give you. Do not ever think about getting rich quickly because then you will lose everything. Buy Amazon and forget. But watch. Interest rates are rising ...
