The new Advantage offices are at 231 S. LaSalle - 14th floor. Much nicer space with both private offices and more open trading workstations. You can call 312-800-7000 to schedule a tour. They are the nicest trading offices I have seen in the Chicago loop...
Take into account the Xtrader or CQG subscription also; that usually runs around $1000 to $1400/month...i'm assuming they pass that cost along to the trader
X_Trader costs start at $650/month for up to 5 markets - you can see pricing here... http://advantagefutures.com/services/front-end-trading-applications/trading-technologies/
Aren't these the old TT rates? Advantage recently sent a release last week indicating that TT prices had been reduced and they were passing on those savings to customers. What is the new TT rate? Thank you.
I am probably going back to Advantage for my futures. I can cover my IB costs with equity trades, and with more than 1 market via TT for the price I am inclined to go back to Advantage for my futures trading if I can include more markets under the initial fee.
For XTrader Pro which provides access to the API, the rate is actually $1525 - higher than the previous uncompetitively high $1500. So there are no price savings to API traders.
What exactly do you mean by "5 markets"? I pay $625/month for TT at velocity for the CME exchange....that gets me all the products i need, i dont trade anything on ICE or Eurex...what about CQG, what are the monthly costs for that platform?
So as I understand it, TT would count CME Group (CME, CBOT, and NYMEX) as three markets and so then you could add two other markets/exchanges under the same $625 monthly cost.
