Interactive Brokers has many Futures Symbols that are different then most other data vendors. Does anyone know the reason why IB uses symbols that aredifferent then what the actual exchange uses for the same product? wercurna
We trade many markets around the world and would have the same symbols for different markets. I'll add that you'll quite often see conflicting symbols on bloomberg vs. reuters vs. the exchanges as well.
