Futures Markets with a Capacity to Trend?

I’m trying to limit the markets I trade because I have a tendency to take on too much in most things I do. This leaves me feeling ‘stretched’ and I want to avoid this in trading. I’m experimenting with a mix of trend following ideas (trading with trend, use a price/volatility breakout, & momentum indicator). What I want to do, is to trade a defined set of markets. The markets I think that might suit are liquid markets with a good capacity to trend (ie. Maybe twice or more each year?).
The markets that I have identified so far that seem to have this characteristic are ED, TY, US, DM, JY, NG, C, and CT.

Can anyone help with (1) feedback on these selected markets, in light with what I’m looking for, and (2) any suggestions for other markets that might be suitable please?

    All the best
    Steve

  2. Currency and indecies (of course indecies NOW have a range)
oil, natural gas and other futures show trends as well. Keep away from illiquid stuff with no trend (pork bellies, OJ etc) -all in all best is currencies.
