Futures likes Pitt leaving!

    Why are you happy? Haven't you been short IBM and MSFT with options for the last 5 or 10 points each?

  3. yeah right. it's all about Mr. Pitt. Has absolutely nothing to do with rate cuts, tax cuts, or conservative legislature.

    Is there any good reason why the price of gasoline fluctuates like it does? No!

    War...no war...bomb in Israel...retaliation....Repubs are in control...Pitt leaves...Saddam has a cold....quake in Alaska.

    And the actual flow of oil has not changed a drop.

  5. Actually def, the market was moving higher, but really started to accelerate after Pitt resigned. The political commentators also predicting a great night for the Republicans didn't hurt either.

    So with all this recent good news, woudn't this be the time for the big guys to start unloading positions? Sell the news. :)

  8. exactly, either that, or they're shaking some small-trader behinds before the big gap up. in any case, i don't care as long as it keeps moving.
