Futures Brokers

  1. I am new to futures and am having trouble picking a broker.

    Here's what I want:
    1. Free streaming tick charts
    2. Ability to trade from the chart....instantaneous order entry
    3. Draw trendlines on chart
    4. CCI Indicator on chart
    5. Reasonable commissions
    6. Honest broker, Reliable software
    7. Really want no fees at all except for commissions

I'll just be trading 1 contract for now until I have more experience.

So that's what I'm looking for.
Don't need the advanced, expensive platforms right now.
    Just cheap and easy.

  2. I'm not sure what a CCI indicator is, but I have no complaints with my setup - MB Trading is my broker that offers the major futures quotes for $10/month. Then I use MedVed QuoteTracker for charting which is free. There have been issues in the past of the server going down at times, but its very infrequent and getting better IMO. Commissions are under $5 round-trip and thats whether you trade on their program or if you call the trade desk, which is a nice if you don't happen to be near your computer or if your computer freezes up.

Me too. MBtrading and Quotetracker. Good combination.
