Your statement makes no sense whatsoever, regardless of which political party you support! Let me make this dead simple for you. Obama signed something. Trump unsigned it. Those who supported it thought it was beneficial to farmers, that's why they supported it. Those who supported it thus think unsigning it is a "blow to farmers". It is in no way hypocritical if you think signing something is good for farmers to think that taking the opposite action is bad for farmers. In fact it's the only rational way to view it! Do you even grasp a fraction of the stuff you feel the need to spew crap about? Any basic logic at all?
I guess that's my problem, I don't frequent the political forums. If that kind of "reasoning" is what's on offer there then I probably won't start any time soon!
Trump has always been saying free trade, as in no tariffs. If you guys go past the "orange man bad" memes, you can see that he's trying to do something good, better than the puppets who went before him (why do you think the media is constantly trying to destroy him?)
And you are a good person for it. It definitely is a cage match in there. But there is nothing wrong with dipping your toes in there once in a while, to test the waters.
Actually I own a U.S. company with a Canadian subsidiary. I've done a line by line analysis of USMCA vs NAFTA because it directly impacts me personally. I'm going to venture a guess that this is far beyond the level of analysis you've done on the subject? So you can forgive me for being a bit insulted when you accuse me of being limited to "orange man bad" memes when I very rightly say Trump is an imbecile when it comes to free trade and tariffs, is causing immense damage to U.S. companies that trade, and is immeasurably worse than those who came before him, which interestingly you label "puppets" while somehow being hurt by those labeling Trump. If you want to go into a detailed analysis of the billions in business that U.S. business that has been lost and is being lost every day due to the tariffs Trump has imposed, versus the de-minimis "wins" he's had I'm happy to engage in a reasonable, fact based and hopefully illuminating discussion. You? Any specific lines of USMCA that you found particularly enlightening that you'd like to share with us?
