great movie. also: caddy shack (sorry - still maes me laarf) stir crazy or any richard prior & gene wilder movie the producers (original with gene wilder) most of woody allens earlier stuff. passion of the christ. schindlers list bambi.
The scene where Jeff Bridges throws his buddy's ashes into the ocean and they blow back into his face has to be the funniest ever put on film. I recall that the audience in the theater couldn't stop laughing for five minutes, and I was in tears.
Have to also agree with The Big Lebowski, some great lines and hilarious scenes. An earlier Coen Bros film that is pretty funny and totally bizarre is Raising Arizona. And while not my favorite Woody Allen I think his funniest films were Love And Death and Play It Again Sam. A funny and very clever Albert Brooks film (with Rip Torn and Meryl Streep) is Defending Your Life. And we can never forget the absolute classic Stanley Kubrick film Dr. Strangelove.
LOL, just remembering that scene is pretty hysterical. I have to say the most memorable scene is with John Turturro threatening Goodman and Bridges at the bowling alley. Then Goodman with the final comment "8 year olds dude". Such great dialogue.
