No just took a long vacation paid by Bitcoin (so missed that thread). And no I'm not interested in trolling posts about tulips and what ever. I have posted a lot in 2013/2014 already, and fed up with ignorant people. Do your homework, and you will understand where I'm coming from.
It's called paternalism. You from own personal side can't judge what are the true needs of the society i.e. decision which are best for majority (not for all!). You can perfectly keep addiction to drug in hands and claim that your rights for doing what you want are infringed. Seeing all picture from the side of educated person with information can be completely different. Same with BTC. Having no control over public finance is utopia. Society may find itself impotent in case of emergency issues, when they system is barred/hacked etc. and who will you blame?

I'll stick with the USD, thanks. All this crypto falderal can pass me by, and I will not feel like I am on a sinking ship. If anyone else claims otherwise, they are claiming revolution against fiat. That's kinda' dangerous about currencies at this time. Maybe in another 50-100 years, but not now. Now is not the time to invest in the silly thing. BTC is based upon NOTHING! Why is this not a clear-and-present danger in the minds of all those who embrace it? It is truly ethereal nothingness. I do be boggled about it all.
But to claim that bitcoin's blockchain is the "most secure "unforgeable" ledger in the world", and "more secure than any paper database ledger"? You must be quite young to believe that shit.
Heh? I'm probably older than you. And you haven't understand the difference between the blockchain-Ledger and hacked Exchanges or other third party entities. The Bitcoin Ledger is NEVER hacked. No Bitcoins are ever stolen from the Ledger itself, it just practically impossible !! People shouldn't give away their private-keys (which they did in all those links you posted). If you don't hold your private-key, it's not your Bitcoin! Simple as that.
Something is wrong with the BTC crypto model. It is not passing the sniff test. Something about the whole thing is off. It feels so off intuitively.
