Where did all the old gangsters live at in Vegas? What neighborhood can the houses that Frank Sinatra might have lived in be found? None of the McMansion style of today.
A lot of them are gone - torn down for newer/bigger casinos, hotels, night clubs, strip malls, new Bright offices, etc. But, if anyone at Bright knows . . . . . . It'd probably be Eddie Franco!! Have fun - keep it clean, or keep it safe!! Jim H.
Actually, since you asked....if you go behind the Strip (East) on Desert Inn Rd., you will see the old Country Club....even though Steve Wynn bought most of the houses for the new "Wynn Las Vegas" resort, there are still a couple of dozen of those old ranch style homes, behind locked gates, just like the old Dan Tanner TV show "Vegas".... If you want to see Bugys Siegel's 1933 Packard Limousine, let me know....it's in my brother's garage. Don
seisan- since your whole purpose on ET is to pimp bright trading to unsuspecting newbies, why don't you pay baron for advertising like your partner in crime don bright??
seisan is an overzealous manager of bright trading, or has a vested interest in seeing bright trading recruit newbies for business building purposes. no one can "just love bright trading so much" especially with their rates and lol, desk fees. he's a wolf in sheep's clothing, beware.
Get there early and you can hit COMDEX too COMDEX 2003 Conference: November 16-20, 2003 Exhibition: November 17-20, 2003 Las Vegas Convention Center Las Vegas, Nevada USA http://www.comdex.com
If anyone is going to the investment show in Vegas it is cheaper to book Ballys for Wednsday and Thursday directly from Ballys.com and Friday and Saturday through the show Hotel offer. You can save $41 a night. $82 buys a lot of one dollar bills for tips at the stripoints.
The rate is good. Go to their web site to register in the guest list. Maybe they have specail offer too.
I have been to a few of these things and the two reasons I'm going is 1) To meet fellow traders and rub shoulders with the big boys 2) Vegas baby Vegas!
