I'll do one better.. How about this, I set up a twitter feed that posts in real time every trade as it happens? If there is enough interest, i'll set it up.
Who is "we"? If anyone is overstating something, I might guess its the weight one might put on one's individual opinion.
Why makes it so easy for the trolls to ride your coattails and benefit from your hard work in order to satisfy their jealousy and need to gain from what they haven't earned?
I don't consider myself trolling. Already fully admitted that would love to be in his shoes related to trading and I am sure he has worked hard for his money, allowing him the advantage's that trading a larger account size can offer(given you use it correctly) which he has most likely certainly earned and seems very capable of doing. Just simply commenting so that others can make sure they ascertain and understand where all the advantages are coming from. Trading Micro's on an 800k account size adds a huge mental edge aspect to it, as well as depending on the strategy a huge actual probability edge for some strategies, again allowing him to more safely and efficiently survive the debit phases of the markets and end up in the credit side. Where as someone with a smaller account size would have both less chances for their edge to work in their favor and also be limited to the strategies they can do. In my opinion this is a very overlooked aspect that many new traders don't understand and realize and they can fall into the trap of not understanding where all the edges are truly coming from, which can be dangerous to them.
Congratulations frostengine. I see some of your instruments are futures. I wonder if your system pulls on the 2:00am CST move. Sometimes a little early, or a little late, but about 80% of the time all 4..ES..Russel..NQ..DOW like a, synchronized play all move in tandem for at least 50 ticks.
Might be some bugs with the Twitter integration, but the system should start posting live future trades tomorrow morning. https://twitter.com/AlphaStratLab
Am I reading this right? Less than 1% over all instruments? I suppose this compares very well with what Jim Simmons seems to say in his book about a 51% win rate, which I guess would translate to a 1% expectancy. This was of course sufficient for him to make billions. Also, and excuse this uninformed question, but since its ML, will the system get better over time? A ML system that teaches itself how to drive I would image gets pretty good with each additional day on the road. Or is the market such that whatever it learns from one day can't be applied too easily to the next?
