It’s not good to be a parrot, whether CNN or Fox. Come to think of it, didn’t Fox declare a victory because a court, possibly Supreme Court, ruled they did not have to give factual information? Trump repeats himself a lot. This is nothing new. There was a tape of a radio or TV show where Trump, in his thirties or forties was speaking fast and saying the same thing 2, 3, maybe 4 times to the interviewer. Trump may not even consciously realize he does this, but there is a definite purpose behind this. When Trump says something to someone, he looks at them and gauges their reaction. If there is no or a weak reaction, Trump will often repeat himself. Remember, Trump is used to running multiple businesses and projects at a time. He talks to lots of people and makes many decisions in a day. He needs a way to efficiently make sure the people he is talking to understand what he wants done. In addition, Trump relies on those with superior knowledge on a particular subject to either relay the pertinent information to him or at least give him their informed opinion. If the person Trump is talking to displays low confidence or hesitation, it annoys him because this slows his day down while he has to either suffer through the other guy’s weak presentation or find someone else who has the necessary expertise and confidence in what they say. I do not know Trump personally, but have critically watched him speak and read one of his books.
And then you repeat all the Dumpisms. I've followed him since the 80's in NYC. I was there. I don't need to watch old archival video. His record of failures speak for themselves. I won't bother rehashing them. Other than his Reality TV gig that is. Got to hand that to him. He's a pro. And now its worked in his latest "gig" like a charm. Fool some of the people some of the time.
Can you think of any possible weakness in your arguments given Trump is a billionaire, only married woman who qualified as models, became President against a hostile press, “unbeatable” opponent, and his own backstabbing Party? Trump has multiple world-class skills and that is the reason why he is so successful. Care to tell us about your candidate for President and how that person has a chance against Trump? Don’t be shy.
The only thing in this world that Dump is shy about is proving he is a billionaire. There is every reason to believe, if one opens their eyes and mind, that he is not. Or at least he wasn't upon entering office. Might be different once he leaves. Only married models who qualify as models? Who, what, where? BTW two of three were cheap imports. Seen Ivanka Sr lately. Bow wow. Hostile press for sure. Shillary LOL "unbeatable". His own backstabbing party? I recall things a bit differently. Dump as usual calling all his Rep opponent every name in the book and throwing out anything and everything. Ted Cruz's dad had hand in Kennedy assassination, on and on. Not "my candidate" but the other New Yorker, the real billionaire Bloomberg. Admittedly he is at the least a RINO or worst a bleeding heart Libber. Still hands down better than "Very Stable Genius".
According to Trump. Ha ha ha. If you want to know the real Trump there are reams written about him by people who have known him for years. He's 90% Barnam and Bailey without the lions and elephants and 20 foot boa constrictor. The other 10% is criminal, and that's the part that is truly dangerous...
Care to share some of these “Reams” of information about Trump with us? We already know about Trump University, his bankruptcies, his political payoffs, and locker room talk. Trump admitted publicly several times that he used bankruptcy laws in his favor several times as well as “Getting such a great deal” buying off politicians. This information was, again, known by many before 2016, yet he still won the Presidency. Sounds to me like there were significant compensating factors in play as well as a underperforming opposing candidate. Your turn.
MMT is unavoidable, and it is already partially here for some maturities. The only way it doesn't explode the government is if the two economies (a la Dalio) are maintained. The rich have the money that the poor need to survive.
Love that title: “How Trump manipulates the Media”. One man versus tens of thousands who are on TV, social media, newspapers, magazines, etc. for 24/7/365 and that one man, Trump, manipulates them? Yes, Trump wins reelection in a landslide.
