Dude seriously, why would they get long sentences? That is what lawyers and tax exemptions are for. :)

A true exchange has only one purpose to facilitate trades ( and promote trading and provide listing and liquidity venue ) nothing more nothing less .. so those ignore it deserve the loss ( sad but true?) But we won;t learm a lesson
Lets flock our money to Malta, Seychelles, Labuwan .. Regulated exchanges etc

Of course I get angry. That's because we have this happening, because everyone excuses them and explains their crimes away.

no one excuses them, they just able to hire best legal talent and get away with things regular people would rot in jail for decades. Not always of course but enough.

I hate gravity. Everyone says that is how the world works, but they are full of it.

I still don't get what you are crying about? Nobody said he should go free or billionaires shouldn't get punished, but they have more resources and friends in high places. Just like gravity...

So stop crying and get a trampoline, if you wanna fly just like me!!!

Because people with your stance are fucking enablers. You allowed the elites to build such system for themselves. Where I hail from none of the elites get away free. They are EQUAL before the law. People like you are a pest because you always excuse your inactivity and bystanding and watch abuse manifest itself institutionally. Great, congrats now you got what you silently wished for to never happen: an elite that stands above the rest and the masses who soon raise their weapons in a great season of equalization. Wait until they hop over your walls and fences and rape your kids and kill your wife because they did not see you fight for equality last time that was called for.

Really really simple. Prosecute crimes no matter what. No white collar criminal would ever settle for millions and oftentimes hundreds of millions if there was only smoke but no fire. The claim by many prosecutors that they most likely would not be able to secure a guilty verdict if a case went to trial is ridiculous and only a manifestation of our times where apparently scoring cash is more highly valued than guilty verdicts in the American legal profession. I don't want the prosecutor who works paid by MY AND YOUR damn taxes to be content with cash settlements ever. I want them to take every fucking white collar criminal to court if there is sufficient evidence. Oftentimes those fuckers are just too lazy to dig deeper and hence claim they don't have enough evidence. If they really worked those egregious cases they would find plenty evidence. Most of the rich, especially newly rich, are pathological narcissists, they can't stop showing off or talking about their scores. There is usually plentiful evidence. Why did that asshold Fuld of Lehman never go to jail and the many others...
