Just got a database on trade. Have a Dell P690 with modified front trays to accept eight HDD's vs the standard 4. (I just bought a bracket on eBay that slides the drives sideways in the stock dell slots) 12 1TB HDD, OS is FreeNAS but if you want a Windows OS I will eat that cost. Has SSD's for system cache, buffer and system OS. The thing is heavy and costs about $50/month in power. You could spend $45-$55 and upgrade to Xeon x5063 CPU's if that's a concern. I'm going to part it out and eBay the stuff in a week. No you can not have any of the data on the drives... i've already begun to security wipe them.
