FRPT Short Opportunity--Supply Glut(photo proof)

  1. Recently, photos of British air strips (now serving as car lots) have been circulating, illustrating the massive imbalance between auto supply and demand.

Now, we can see the same thing occuring in Iraq. There are large amounts of idle MRAPs, parked and awaiting shipment back to the US. Don't take my word for it, just read the story.

This represents an opportunity. With the coming decline in military Capex, contractors are going to start feeling the pinch.

  3. I’m not sure I totally agree. My wife works on the repair arm of MRAPs. The maintenance programs are going bonkers right now. There is a lot of sand in those machines that needs to be taken out before they can come home and be used again. The wild card is Obama. He may slow the process down.
