WOW what in the world was I thinking closing my bot's trade!!!!! this was one of the big trades that makes up for all the small losses the bot gets... Now the next trade the bot opens today will probalbly be a looser and wipe the gains!!!! Oh well, you live and you learn I guess.... last time I close the bots trade for No reason...
Tough love. The market is probably finding support right about now. You might wanna consider a LONG position. But use your indicators and your system ... not what I'm telling you. Later, JJ P.S. It's just that you trade like you're a drunk driver, and ... then you come back the next day and trade like you're a drunk driver again ... and then you come back the next day and trade like you're a drunk driver again ... you have to change. You have get a trading plan, know your signals like the back of your hand, and trade'em when you sees em. Not all of them are going to work out, but if it's a well thought out plan, most of them will ... and go from there. Hell mymini seems to like you, PM him and get some tips from him on how he trades his game.
I am now up +$57 from my trading...... I generally do not take ANY positions when the bot is in positions, since I dont want ot double my exposure to the market with such a small account....Overall having a good day... My bot still makes me nervous as hell though...
OK, give'em to me. If this thing holds it's probably going to be the bottom of the day (yesterday support) and it should be clear sailing from there ... that's if it holds. JJ
I wouldn't be looking for any longs here. As far as the Dow and YM are concerned, they're so far below intraday 50 and 200 smas that you'll likely be catching a falling knife trying to pick a bottom. Until the markets get back above some major averages, keep that short position on.
I hear you boro bro (snicker), but I don't use SMA's to trade, they're always late to the party when you're trying score. I use S/R to define my concept of what the market is doing, and look at a couple of customized indicators along with a crossover of what is not a SMA (can't wear the same shoes as everyone else) to enter trades. The bulls definitely tried to hold the line on that one, but it ain't over yet. Too much action at support to think that it's gonna break that easily. Later, JJ
As far as S/R goes, I could see the YM moving back up to 11040-11045 before continuing down further to the 11015-11020 area.
