  1. I'm interning at a small trading firm and would like to know:

From your personal trading experiences what advice would you give a new trader?

Make sure you start your trading career with the right firm and experienced mentors that will work with you.

-Learn how to read the tape.

-Money management will determine your staying power.

-Look at the habits of those who win and those who lose.

-Have a reasonable goal. Whether its per day/week/month. Stay small and disabuse yourself of the notion that you will own Chicago and New York in 6 months.

    -Compete only with yourself.

    Good luck.
