From $3K To $50k In 2015

Discussion in 'Journals' started by Money Trust, Jan 3, 2015.

  1. Ok. First trade of the year. Entered a short on Wheat at 577 and exited at 563 for a profit of $700. I'm probably gonna kick myself later for exiting this trade

  3. I thought about that as I was posting. I got so caught up in actually taking the trade that I forgot about this. Here's what I'll do though. I'll show the actual P/L.

    Good enough for me!!

What would your max loss been via SL if you use SL ??

20%+ on 1 trade, if your not risking to much, or just very very good, is going some, nice :)

From now on, will u be posting trades in advance, as mentioned in your 1st post, or just p&l after the trade?

  6. I intend to post trades before they're taken. I can't guarantee that I'll do it every single time but I will post in advance.

That being said, I'm looking at a long trade on mini-gold. I don't see gold rising over the long haul, so this will be a really short-term trade.

  7. Considering the trade setup I had going, my risk was around 15% of capital.

Depends on your time and how much you care, that people on here think your profitable or not I guess.

In advance, before you enter and exit is ideal, but TRADE comes first so what ever you've got the time to do, that detail will do me you posted today.

  10. I'm eyeing a couple of trades at the moment. the 10-Year Treasury and gold are both showing similar price action. I'm bullish on both for the time-being.Now it's a question of which one to take.

I've noticed that the indexes move inversely to the bond market and also to gold (although minor). The indexes are in a weak position and treasuries are showing that they're likely to continue to bull move that began last week. I'm leaning towards taking a position in treasuries when the market opens later today.
