  1. GoldenMember, I think you missed a few "episodes". I did not complain about some images, I simply told the moderator that an ET user was disclosing private and personal information about another ET member on the forum.

In fact, I don't even think it is legal to do that on the internet, without the written consent of the concerned party!

    Just read this thread.

Certainly is a tall order, and be aware that posting trades on a public forum whilst they trades are still open may mean that the trader's ego gets in the way.

    Good luck anyway.

  3. Fair enough, thank you for the explanation

I believe that information was freely accessible on the internet via the link the OP himself included on his original post and Google. IMHO drownpruf nor anyone else posted anything illegal or sensitive in this thread.

  5. Or maybe he pissed >60% of his bankroll. Don't you tire of being so profoundly wrong?

For just $5K I would have kicked his ass. He could have saved $1,200.

  7. correct 10 contracts "long" ~$3,800.00 remaining, but this acct is over. He stated he was transferring balance to TOS to trade options.

Effectively giving up on this "Futures" challenge and most likely this thread. So it is already over. Surprise, Surprise.

    Time to unsubscribe,

  8. Video update for the day:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNpz37-rj7g

I am sure there is no need to mention that today was a major hit on the capital. I came in today looking to start the challenge with bang, but unfortunately the bang occurred on the other side. I am not discouraged by any means, and this challenge will continue. I ignored fundamental rules I trade by and handled my position as a chicken with it's head cut off. When I have stated such lofty goals, I have already confronted the fact that I would be taking risk that is out of my normal trading habits. I won't be able to hit the 900% return without going balls in, in several different stances and come out ahead. As I stated in the video, the remaining balance will be moved to a Think or Swim brokerage account and will be used to trade options to raise the capital. Options are my bread and butter and what I have been trading religiously for the past few years on my main account.

  9. Looks like this thread blew up quite a bit through out the day. Judging by the last few replies on this thread, many feel quite definite that things are over - that is not true. As long as there is money in the account and the six months are not up, the challenge continues.

I will update the thread when the next trade is taken. I will not bother the 10 new pages that have shown up since this morning since I am sure I would rather not read them considering how I was initially welcomed to this forum.

    Stay tuned.

  10. Definitely. That came into play today to some degree. Was looking to start of the first day strong, took more size than I told myself I would on such a low balance. When the mental stops were being hit, I didn't want to mark my first trade a lose. Either way, that's all excuses, I performed poorly today, simple as that.
