It's like talking to a wall.
Sure, I guess I'm biased having witnessed the Soviet Union and other events surrounding it. What experience do you have besides being an avid ET comment poster?

Russian shills have no edge. What's next, we can't say the Holocaust was a disproportionate genocide because the Union killed Indians a long time ago?

The midget started feeling the pressure from sanctions and anti-corruption allegations. Then he started blaming it on the anti-missile defense system and spurred nationalistic sentiment by starting a war in Crimea and scapegoating the gays.

Well, anti-missile defense system is a pretty serious shift in the balance of nuclear deterrence. I totally understand why a country that depends solely on its nuclear deterrence for self-defense would be unhappy about it. Would you not agree that if Russia was not a nuclear power, it would join the club of Iraq and others pretty soon?

Crimean referendum can be also thought of as an obvious self defense play - with the Ukraine allied with the US now, there was no chance of them extending the lease of the Crimean base after 2045 (or whenever). BTW, you do know that the people in Crimea have tried to vote for independence before and got shut down?

Anyway, there is no argument about Putin being a horrible leader in many aspects. But his foreign policy actions are obviously geared towards propping up the Russian standing as much as possible given the circumstances. Considering the imbalance of power, nobody can blame him for playing outside the rules.

  8. It`s been done with the EU already by Medvedev as the president in 2011.Medvedev triggered Libya and released 1700 miles sea shore for the immigrants. Now the EU is choked with the immigrants.US should kiss Medvedev`s ass for that till the end of time.
