  2. Yup, amazingly France's economy is expanding while Germany's is sputtering.

Not to worry. The socialists in France will fix all that consumer waste that comes from economic growth. Nothing like a recession to cut down on consumer consumption. We know they can do it.

America could do with laws to prevent waste. Or give people more holidays so they don't self-medicate with Chinese made crap they don't use so much.

With a research figure showing 26% of the US population having a diagnose-able psychiatric condition on a rolling basis and the US' 4.3% of the planet producing 40% of all solid waste, half in packaging for garbage products I imagine.

I'm loaded but still anything I buy I have a GOOD LONG think, am I actually going to use this?

    Well done France.

  4. People can choose just not to go shopping.

I am amazed at how often people who cannot control their own behavior want the thing banned.

You are a near vegetable who thinks politics is just an entertainment sport. If a genie gave you a wish it would be used for a longer tongue to lick you own balls.

You never think anything through, "People can choose THEIR money how they choose." why can't people buy Oxycontin at the supermarket checkout?

Why are poker and other gaming machines not everywhere in the US? Shopping is addictive for many people and sales are often very misleading to downright deceptive. There is a larger social & environmental cost than the sticker price very often and that does concern government.

THINK you daft old bastard. Black Friday is about creating a credit card fuelled frenzy in enough of the population to make it worthwhile for stores.

People in debt are modern slaves, rampant consumerism does not make a healthy society and that is the business of government.

I guess you have not read any of my rather libertarian policies. Way to stay informed. I am for legalization of drugs, especially marijuana, and have many posts that say so, gambling, most certainly should be legal, and people can shop on Black Friday if they want.

Besides, why do you think I am old? Give me your gamertag, and name the game, and I will kick your fucking ass. Guaranteed.

There’s a good percentage of people still paying off last years Christmas debt.

Christmas is way too commercial today.

I understand the desire for less government intervention, it’s just today’s immediate self gratifying society.... there’s a thread talking about some app or business where people doctor their photos with designer clothes for their social media profiles. o_O

    We’re doomed.
