    Ooh rah!

One question. Since I'm a computer dummy,:( where do I click to find this again after I close the program or turn off the computer. I have it running now, but have NO clue where to go to find it again without having to pull up this thread.

I'm sure it's saved in my computer, but where?

(Wish I was just 15 years younger. I would have at least had computers in my High School instead of chalk boards.)

Ok then, when you download it, your browser should ask you if you want to save it or if you want to run it, if you choose run it , then it's downloaded in a temp directory, and it's launched.
Now instead you want to save it in a directory where it's easily accessible.
So choose save and from the dialog , select a directory (Desktop is a good one...). Once downloaded it should appear in your chosen directory.

If later you want to save it in another directory to keep your desktop uncluttered and your PC organized , let's say you have a "Trading Software" directory, you can cut and move it there then you can right click on the file icon and select "send to desktop" (no idea if it's still available in W7 or Vista) and a shortcut will be created on your Desktop.

Or you can also right click and select "create shortcut" and a shortcut will be created in the same directory you are right now.
Take that shortcut and place it wherever you want.

This way you have the actual exe files well organized in categories, and on your desktop there's only the reference(shortcut) to the actual exe file, and in case you accidentally delete the shortcut, your file is still where you "stored" it and nothing is lost

Edit: All this stuff is usually done by the installation software, but since this is portable (no installation is needed) you have to do it by yourself ;)
    Hope it helps

    That's weird...
    Still working as expected here.
    Did you change anything lately?
New Internet Explorer version? Changed Screen resolution or Graphic Card?
Added a Monitor ? Stuff like that?

Holy crap it's already gone a year

ok I just "experienced" the problem , it seems they have changed the format of some Ads, basically since their width has changed you see part of the ads.
There's nothing I can do about it, because I can't "detect" the width of the ads programmatically .
I think that's just a temporary glitch, as soon as they realize the problem I hope they will fix it and return to the "regular" Ad format.

Someone could try and send a mail to inform them, maybe this will speed up the fix.

Ps. If the width of the ads is just 2 formats I could create a button to change the window's size manually size A for old format and size B for new format... just an idea

Hey Mark, I tried to download it again without the ads, but it's still the same. No worries on my end. We can try it again every now and then to see if it went back to normal. If not, I'm all ears on getting most of the ad pushed to the side.

One thing I'll do is log into freestockcharts now and then to click on a few ads as I know they get paid per click, and want them to stay around. When it comes to my computer at work, I'd rather have no ads though. Lol

Again, no worries. I was glad to have it ad-free for the time that I did. I had you on my "mental Christmas card list" for a year.:D :)
