    Picking a database is much like picking a programming language. The right database depends on what you are trying to do. And most likely there are many correct databases for you.

    If you aren't pushing REALLY high volumes of data through, and if you don't need 99.99999% uptime or data integrity, probably just about anything would work. Then it might come down to ease of use. I'm biased towards Oracle since that's what I am most familiar with.
