  1. My 6 glazed donuts in the burbs trumps your gunshot wound in the hood.

I expect no complications from pregnancy, (males only) I want a discount.

I'm not gay, whoa! another discount. No hiv for me.

Asians always are better at everything, I eat tofu longtime. Another discount.

Fail a drug test at work...dwi.....pay more, ya right. things like this will qualify you for a "subsidy" for your health insurance premium. Why? Cause you're a loser. Winners support the losers. It's the American way...wait...I forgot..what is the American way?

Why? Why should I bother with a link designed to spread propaganda on a subject? I'd rather look to a source that isn't overtly biased.

  3. In a round about way that was my point also. Put the health care cost into the fast food and unhealthy food at the grocery store. The insurance industry is full of statisticians and could figure the cost on this. Live healthy pay less, live unhealthy pay more. And this would hit all, even those on welfare. I think it's a pretty good idea. Of course Coke and Pepsi would funnel millions to politicans to oppose this.

Yes, but in the case of Bloomberg, he's out to ban certain items. That's where it goes too far. Smoking has all sorts of taxes on it. Put a tax on soda, that's ok. But don't remove it completely (like Bloomberg trying to eliminate larger than 16 oz cups, like that's going to work).

  6. On the receipt don't put taxes, have a line that says health costs. Of course congress would put the money in the general fund and spend the health care money on something else. I think it's a good idea but workable, not in our government.

I agree the cup size tactic is laughable, but if I had to bet I'd say it was a bit of a political decision. Simply taxing the drinks is, well, raising taxes! Besides, you'd have the sugar lobby all over you, and they are strong.

It's funny how lefties have so much trouble with that concept. I guess if you don't pay taxes it seems like it is just a free service provided by the government. The sheeple are so easily fooled.

No one needs a cup larger than 16 ounces. Besides you can get refills at most restaurants.
