Free Futures Data to Excel

Discussion in 'App Development' started by maninjapan, Nov 28, 2012.

  1. Does anyone know of a free way to pull historical Futures data to excel for US futures? I am only interested in the past couple of weeks worth of data. I have found a few for stocks but not having any luck with futures. If anyone is able to point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

  2. stocks? index? bonds? commodities?

  3. Looking for CME, CBOT products. (grains, metals, energy, index, bonds).

  5. you should have a look at wikiposit.org

  6. Thanks, guys, should be able to work out something from there.

  7. Also Quandle, http://www.quandl.com/futures , for somewhat cleaner data than Wikiposit.

  8. Quandl's very cool. I wonder if he is going to make it a subscription-based service soon ?

  9. I agree. Looks too good, to stay free. ;)
