IB stop trading a day before last trading day as you cannot take delivery. They got down to 0.0 as I don’t think their system can go negative.

What happens to car owners everywhere. They gouge us and jack gas prices. :)

Seriously though, RB is moving normally, last I saw around -350 ticks down on June. Not bad all things considered.

Yep. Would be nice to get gas for 17 cents a gallon but nope, not happening. If oil jumped to 397 a barrel they would kindly give you gas at $17 a gallon!!!

The settlement for the May Contract will be fascinating.

  7. Thank you.

It also says: Regular trading session 9:30 EDT - 17:00 EDT. Since there is a trading day tomorrow until 14:30 EDT (as you explained not on IB), why didn't the contract continue trading until 17:00 EDT? Because it closes at 14:30 EDT also on the second last trading day?

Can we store barrels of oil in self-storage facilities?

Maybe pick up a few barrels and put them there for future use.
