The pro-European Emmanuel Macron, who is seeking EU reform and wants to avoid his term being bogged down in Brexit, is happy for France to take the hardest line in voicing EU exasperation.

The foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told the French parliament on Wedsnesday afternoon:

Our position is to send a simple and clear message to the British.

He said there were only two ways to leave the EU – ratify the withdrawal agreement or a no-deal exit.

He said if the withdrawal agreement wasn’t ratified by parliament, “the central scenario is a no-deal exit. We’re ready”.

    re:"We’re ready" French minister
The French are about as ready today as they were for the invasion by Germany in World WarII.

Letter sent 3 month extension, EU likely to refuse as nothing will get resolved and she knows this.

Likely sent 2nd class and it'll get lost

That withdrawal deal May negotiated was not a deal; it was an unconditional cave-in to bullies. That is unacceptable to any sovereign country. Any government would've rejected it. At the end, May's own Brexit negotiator resigned.

    Conclusion:

EU either returns to the table and negotiate in good faith or face Britain leaving in chaos and uncertainty or Britain waits until EU does.

The world will not end if any of the countries would disappear. What's your point?

The British have an attitude to think they are the best in everything, and without them the world is doomed. With or without the UK will make no change for the survival of the EU.

British are so full of themselves: they have one of the biggest armies, they have the financial center of the world, they have the lowest unemployment, no recession like the rest of the EU...blablabla.

Graveyards all over the world are filled of dead people that where irreplacable and could not be missed.

The point is they are all ready trading partners with UK in various aspects. When it comes to invasion and massacre, no country in this world is ever innocent of that. If you want to equate trading with past invasions and violence, then nobody would trade with Germany or the Scandinavian countries today given what they have done in history. So please leave the past "invasions" out of it if you want to sound relevant in this debate.

May is not a strong leaderif she cried. Again what has a leader's emotion got anything to do with Brexit? Just because she cried, Brexit would not happen? LOL You wish. Honestly I prefer a hard Brexit too. It would give Britain a chance to show the world what it's made out of and people like you would understand and appreciate Britain once more. The world is not just about compromises and accommodations, sometimes it's about sticking to your guts to do whatever it takes to do what is best and what is right no matter how much everyone else doubted you.

Pretty sure the Americans and the stupid yet arrogant ones.

Lowest Unemployment is joke, massaged figures hugely, when the dole decide you should start and sanction you for 3months over what ever made up thing they want, they take you off that list, the UK is a joke and treating it's population like we are Americans!!

There is nothing wrong in being proud of oneself and quite honestly Britain has lots to feel proud of as all other nations in this world. UK is not trying to "punish" EU or threaten its survival or whatever by leaving. It's quite the opposite. It's EU who's trying to punish UK for leaving because it's scared that its leaving would break the illusion for the rest of the member countries that leaving EU would be detrimental. It's like the abusive partner in a relationship who's threatening the partner that's leaving that he/she would not survive if he/she strikes out on his/her own and then tries to do everything possible to make sure it's true. Honestly, if EU thinks it would survive just fine without UK, then why doesn't EU just let UK go instead of making it so difficult for UK? UK just simply thinks EU is not a model that's suitable for UK anymore and doesn't want to have any part of it anymore. Honestly any country is entitled to think that and UK is not the only one that does. Holland is thinking of leaving too and so are all of the Scandinavian countries at one point or another and still is. Greece, even with all its economic woes was thinking of leaving EU too at some point and was getting very close to even. Why make such a big deal all of sudden when UK is leaving EU? Maybe because out of all the countries, UK actually has the guts to do so and has the means to do so; it doesn't just talks to the talk but walks the walk. And EU can't have that because it knows that once everyone sees that it's ok to leave and it's fine to leave as demonstrated by UK then everybody would leave because they will see that EU is a f***'ed model and EU in its present state would actually collapse. That's why EU is trying everything it can to make things difficult for UK to maintain the illusion that leaving EU would be detrimental. It's not that UK's leaving per se would threaten EU's survival but the repercussions of its leaving that EU's scared of.

That's why honestly I prefer a hard Brexit too. Once UK succeeds in leaving EU even without a deal then finally everybody would see the truth that EU is a f***'ed model and nobody needs it and would be better without being part of it. All UK needs right now is the courage to be itself to realize what it is; it is the country that is never afraid to be different and succeeds. Maybe that's why everyone else is jealous of UK and always tries to put it down by referring to UK as full of itself. The graveyard is full of jealous and insecure cowards. What can I say.

Oh ok. I thought someone said you were Russian. Maybe destriero. Perhaps it referred to your other previous aliases.

    Regardless, apologies.
