  1. In france, people cannot be laid off so what happens is a company will try to torture employees so they can commit suicide. Employees do not quit because if they do it is impossible to get a new job since no one wants to hire anyone since it is impossible to get rid of them once they are employed.

In fact employees wish they would just get laid off in france.

    Pretty messed up.

French people are such wimps. They rush the streets and complain for hours if their tap water is 2/3 of a Celsius too warm but if they are dying by the smelly car load in jobs they don't want, they just whimper and hide like women. You'd think after 300 years they'd be able to fight back against things actually killing them instead of the trivialities. They revolt over cake comments by a dumb Austrian chick but if someone invades or threatens their actual lives... they just hide in a corner and hope the bad thing killing them leaves before they all get killed.

  3. I thought Japan had the highest rate of suicides in the "modern" world ?!?!

  5. The number of suicides is likely statistically irrelevant.

I worked at a place (in Canada) where 3 people killed themselves over a 6 mth period (it was a manufacturing firm). Not a very uplifting environment. And yes, I found a new job and left after number 1.

But Japan has a common ritualized suicide - thats very common so I've read.

And as for America, they die from a different kind of suicide- it's call Obesity.
