If you were an American citizen you would have voted for John Kerry correct?

Were you outraged when John Kerry said this Mr. Moral Authority?

  2. Please try to stay on point: Who has accused US soldiers of being namby-pambies while they were getting shot at and killed in military conflict? Please provide such a reference.

And yes, I would have voted for Kerry, who is a war hero, if I were an American. He did not ridicule the valor of military personnel. What he said in that video may not be pretty, but it has the ring of truth in the aggregate.

  3. It's not pretty but one could argue that the Canadian military/government is spineless for not finishing the job which has the ring of truth in the aggregate.

  4. Hey, I think Canadian troops are raping and pillaging in Afghanistan. I don't have any proof, but it must be so since war and all western militaries are evil instruments of imperialism. I hope they get called all sorts of names and spat upon when they get home.

Oops, wait a minute. I'm not saying some Canadian troops don't have any valor, but all in all, in the aggregate, it's probably true.

    .........How does it feel?

  5. What are you talking about? The "aggregate" remark in connection with Kerry's statement? Have you taken a moment to actually read your own post? You are essentially comparing the general lack of alternative economic opportunity among the lower ranks in the military, which is an undisputed reality for many, to allegations of rape and pillage?! Are you even following your own string here?

Really, what would you expect from a network who has an audience that is classless?

  8. Is this some more of that "debate" that you so love?

At least take a moment to know what you are talking about. Canada's original commitment was to end in 2009 but was extended to 2011. Did you get that? Extended. The break would be in 2011, because Canada's military is strained, both in personnel and equipment. With only 10% of America's population, Canada does not have the resources required to provide its military with a backing equivalent to the US. And what kind of military commander would deploy strained and ill-equipped personnel into harm's way. In the meantime, Canada's soldiers have fought and continue to fight alongside their US counterparts and are now being mocked as namby-pambies. And here you are defending FOX...

Oh, and did you watch the FOX video? The link is in my first post. They even made fun of the Canadian general's name for good measure. A real class act, that FOX.

Obama insults the British with a ridiculous gift, Hillary insults the Russians by putting the wrong word on a gift which insulted them, and now Obama insults the French with a letter to Chirac.

And yet some people think that all those things are meaningless and what's really important is what goes on on Fox News.

Well, what happens on Fox News Is important, that goes without saying, but some of us think that when the administrators of the federal gov't do the insulting, that's important, too. :p

  10. So now I see a combination post...

An admission that Fox's insults are important and worthy of condemnation...then a strawman using Obama and Hillary in an attempt to rationalize the insults by the "important" Fox News.

That's generally how it works with the right wingers, an admission of blame followed by some attempt to make it right by pointing to what someone else did.

Like a child caught in the act blaming his brother because of what his brother did...
