Fox News War on Journalism

Discussion in 'Politics' started by OPTIONAL777, Apr 5, 2011.

  1. Do you know what fraud is? Do you admire organized fraud? Do you admire organizations that perpetrate fraud and deception on the general public for the good of the organization, and not the good of the public?

Fox claims they are fair and balanced...what is fair and balanced about Fox News?

  2. Name a few, and provide the evidence stemming from the very top of the organization directing the systematic and ongoing partisan distortion of news as the principal preoccupation of the network, and which is the basis on which its employees are evaluated, promoted or fired.

  3. I doubt you are going to gain any traction with these folks. Their only principle is the end justifies the means. So, they admire any activity, criminal, immoral, etc. that helps they obtain their goal.

If Fox would admit they are fully partisan (and the evidence in the video certainly makes a very strong case that they are partisan) that would be okay.

That is not what they do. They say they are fair and balanced...which is just a joke.

Would it really make a difference gabby? You're so far left you're on the verge of falling off the planet. NOTHING anyone EVER shows you that detracts from the liberal cause EVER effects your defense of all things liberal. You openly ignore or argue with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING negative about democrats, liberals or Dumbo and lovingly embrace ANYTHING negative about republicans or conservatives. You don't want facts or reality. You just want to poo poo on anything conservative and cheer lead for anything liberal.

  6. And so, the sum and substance of your response is that you have accused the "liberal" news organizations (in the plural) of doing EXACTLY the same thing (emphasis yours), and yet you cannot name them.

I think Fox on cable is biased, but Fox online less so. It's easy to find bias on either medium, though, for most points of view.

Oh I could name them, but in case you're reading comprehension challenged the "sum and substance" of my response is that it won't make any difference if I did.

Now if you'll excuse me my 18 month old step granddaughter will be here momentarily. We're going to eat ice cream and play in the park, both of which are far more useful and productive than anything I'm doing here.

  9. Perhaps Fox online is less so, because it requires the ability to read...

Fox News on TV doesn't require literacy.

It is an established fact that the way in which the brain processes information through watching, versus reading is quite different.

Also, with information in print, it is easier to get caught in falsehoods.
