fox news alters video and removes applause for obama at west point. when obama was giving a speech and talked about withdrawing troops he gets applause. when fox aired the video they removed the applase. fair and balanced. if you are a fox loving right winger, something there are a lot of on et, dont you think it useful to know how fox manipulates its viewers?
Manipulates? I view this akin to inserting a laugh machine in a sitcom. There's no real audience, yet we hear laughter when a "funny" joke is told. Audience noise isn't relevant. Content is. I don't see how this is newsworthy. Sorry, bro. Frequently, replays of Presidential State of the Union speeches are played back without audience clapping as well (because there's so much of it). Doesn't mean it's manipulated. Just means it's convenient to watch.
the pause was still there in the fox video so its not like they were editing to save time. i see it a a bigger message from fox. anything that would indicate that the war is unpopular with the troops is censored by pro war fox.
I think you're simply reading into this a lot and getting what you want to get out of it. Fox isn't pro war. It's pro troops.
