The point about age is very important or at least should be to the GOP being relevant in the future. I think I read that the faux leader of the GOP aka Rush Limbaugh has an average audience approaching 70. Demographics show that America is moving away from the white majority that is GOP's core base and that the younger and non white people are going Democratic in a big way. So, basically, take away grumpy old men and the GOP has no base.
