  1. Four dead, three police injured in Pennsylvania shooting

(Reuters) - Four people were killed on Friday during a shooting in Frankstown Township, Pennsylvania, including the gunman, while three Pennsylvania state troopers were injured, the Altoona Mirror reported, citing the county prosecutor.

The gunman, two other men and a woman were killed, the newspaper said, citing Blair County District Attorney Richard Consiglio. The troopers were wounded in a shootout with the suspect, the newspaper said.

The shooting took place one week after a gunman killed 20 school children and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. Newtown held a moment of silence in remembrance on Friday, while the pro-gun lobby, the National Rifle Association, issued a statement in response to the Newtown shooting, urging armed guards at the nation's schools.

One trooper was hit in his bulletproof vest and another was hit by flying glass when the shooter fired on his car, the Mirror said. The third trooper was injured in a crash involving the suspect, the newspaper reported, citing Consiglio.

Calls to Consiglio's office by Reuters went unanswered.

Frankstown is about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Just think, you vote for politicians hell bent on confiscating your AK 47.
Assuming you really have one of course.

    Pretty sure it's GUNS

  6. They wont be confiscated.Like Clinton's gun ban owners with existing guns will be allowed to keep them.10-15 years will go by with relatively few shootings and the ban will end.

IF there is a ban I would be willing to bet you that thats exactly whats going to happen but we know you have no integrity and welch on bets so I wont

Unless the "ban" includes confiscation of all existing weapons, like the last ban it will have little if any effect.

I take it you support the idea of a new "ban". So it's OK for you to own an AK47 but no one in the future should be able to?

    Or the crazy lunatics.
Eliminate all guns tomorrow and you'd still have crazies committing murders.
    Eliminate the crazies, problem solved.

Great solution, and while I'm working on that you find a way to keep guns out of their hands. We'll solve this problem together.
