Found out I was scammed, do I have options to get my money back?

  1. Just left the SEC a voicemail, we will see if I hear back. I want to forward all these emails from this G6 scam outfit. Unf'ing believable!

    "After you make the wire, make sure to send us an email with the wire receipt so we can track it as fast as we can"? Eeesh. I won't even get into that bit.

    Well, look at it this way. You learned a hard lesson, albeit an expensive one. But a hard lesson learned is not one easily forgotten.

  4. Yes of course in retrospect I feel like a complete moron. But for a trader just starting out, the promise of leverage was very appealing. The fact that they blatantly stole my money is not something I would of expected.

    Put it in the back of your mind and focus on the future. Dwell not on the past or it will cloud the clarity of your forward vision.

  6. It amazes me how people get scammed -- it's like they were Just born yesterday :banghead: o_O;
    ...So dumb, or naive, about things and life, in general

    Didn't you just made $3 million in penny stocks... @Make Dough Repeat ? Why bother with the hassle of getting 3k back from some off shore Nigerian brokerage scam...

    This is absolutely hilarious (sorry for your loss, I mean the story is hilarious). Do you have more information about this firm and can share how you guys traded and were scammed. Not knowing you are on a demo account is something I absolutely cannot imagine. It's actually pure comedy lol. Probability the most serious you ever take a sim account.

    Well, find comfort in that you would have lost the 3k in trading anyway. Chalk it up to stupidity and move on.

  10. I am sorry for your loss Make Dough Repeat,

    This is horrible. Can't trust nothing out here in the trading world I see. Its best to just go with NinjaTrader or another well known establish broker. The scam broker target newbies with little capital and little knowledge.

    That is very sad, give people Demo accounts when they send their trading capital. Sigggghhhhh, man, this makes me cautious of everything.
