In case people haven't noticed, just like the Surgeon General puts on a warning about the risks of smoking, Baron has put this warning on the Chit Chat forum: "Not for the faint of heart. If you are easily offended, stay away from this forum! These threads will not appear on the homepage. So let me get this straight....Baron warns people that are easily offended to stay from Chit Chat...yet people are bitching about what they read in Chit Chat, that they are offended...some have even threatened to leave ET because of what they read in Chit Chat, that if certain members are not banned, they will leave ET. Isn't this a bit like those who ignore the warnings on the cigarette package, get cancer, then blame the Cigarette companies for the fact that they smoked? You bringing up Chit Chat and its contents is like a whore leading a discussion about syphillis. The problem is the moderating that goes on in Chit Chat. If Chit Chat were truly a "If you are easily offended, stay away from this forum!" kind of place, it would be an equitable and free-flowing process. You wouldn't have resinate hovering over your shoulder like a guardian angel, and posts and threads from people who disagree with you wouldn't be deleted. Baron's warning ought to read: "Not for the faint of heart. If you are easily offended by ZZZzzzzzzz, stay away from this forum! He will be protected, and you will not! These threads will not appear on the homepage."
