Anyone on ET traded bonds during the time they went from pit to electronic? Would like to hear what that experience was like.
On the futures side, if you embraced "new" technology and methods, it was a great transition. If you are/were a one-trick-pony-floor-trader, it was a "slow death" trying to live off of a shrinking pie instead of developing a taste for the brand new expanding one that was available to everyone.
nazz pretty much answered the first question. the next one is, what are the considerations of making a market in a one- or two- tick emarket? where's the edge? if it's a one tick market, do you still make your market 4 or 5 wide, figuring on "noise" to move it around enough?
