  1. Instead of weighing opinions of "foolish" bulls and "crazy" bears, you'd be much better off with a little money management discipline.

Instead, you average into losing positions, going through a 40% drawdown on a single trade in order to close it with a 4% gain. You're picking up pennies in front of a steamroller.

  3. Dude, you really need to look yourself in the mirror . . . You risked 40% in order to book a piddly 4% gain in the FAZ?

  5. Many thanks for all the PM's of encouragement!

I'm once again going to ask for a relevant trading discussion here going forward. If you cannot contribute, please mind your own business. Alot of people (judging from the pm's) want to see further ideas developed in this thread. So stop sliming please!

  7. In keeping with the premise of this thread, and with a single day before S&P expiration, b. rowshan strongly feels that the Jan 900 calls are a safe sell.

Any thoughts from any of the good folks on this thread?

  8. You think so? The calls that are trading at 30 cents? They're a sale, are they?

  9. Return on margin of 0,20% on those fat 900 calls!

  10. Yes, in the last day or two they have been a great sale for me. And they will go worthless. But more importantly, why do you come out now and say this? Did you also have a problem with me selling the Jan 1000 calls at an average price of $2 7/8? Funny, I didn't hear from you then.

Yes, I sold 900 calls, and they will expire worthless. My average price on the sale of the Jan 900's is about $1 1/2
But you don't want to hear about trades after the fact, do you?

Where were you when I made this call? Or you only come out to attack.
That's one hell of an assumption that I would wait until I posted this, and then try to sell them for 1/4. Not exactly. I've been an active seller the last 2 days of these 900 calls. Didn't know it was my obligation, given the slimy responses here, to state all my trades on ET before trading them. I missed that in the tos lol.
