What would be the best way for me to learn about the forex market?
How to read and understand the charts?
    What books would you recommend?
What college classes would be best BUS or ECON? Going to register next week!
Just opened a demo and played around for a week losses @ -20,000.
I would like to start trading around Oct. 08
    with real money.
I am taking this seriously because I see the potential and I want to achieve it.
P.S. I have no previous investment experience.

London session is the best for eur/usd, from 9 AM CET till 6:30 PM CET. Learn everything you can about technical analysis and then some, it's the most technical market you will ever find. Get yourself multiple charts and get yourself lots of screentime while being very concentrated on what's happening on each and every timeframe. There is some good stuff on ET if you are prepared to look for it.

I trade forex, I'm an econ major. Don't think it really matters though. The only thing econ may help you with is fundamentals and I don't really trade on those so I guess I doesn't do anything for me. Do what you like. Focus on money management. It is more important than everything else.

IT IS in fact the most important thing. If every trader out there knew this, there wouldn't be "account wipe outs" on live accounts.
