If you could get 4 lots of EURUSD with $200 margin, it would be about 3000:1 leverage. I think even Iinky would have trouble trading that.

  2. Better check your math, or I can do it for you:

    4 standard lots = 400k/200 = 2000:1

And I'll do this one for you too:

    200 @ 200:1 = 200* 200 = 40K = 4 mini lots

  3. If you trade 4 mini lots with a $200 account @ maximum leverage of 200:1 you'll be margin called before your blink, in fact I don't think the platform will let you do it!

Hey Inky, there's a job for you, try it out and tell us what happens!

  4. Hi Cable, I was really just doing the math for our arithmetically challenged friend.

Actually max leverage on a micro account at my broker is 250:1 on some pairs, and it looks like it is still 400:1 for the USD/JPY, USD/CHF, and USD/CAD ($25/mini lot)

$40/mini lot for the EURUSD & EURJPY and $42.50/mini lot on the GBP/USD & GBP/JPY

Inky, get ready for some high energy bang bang forex trading.

My goal will be simple: Use non-piker Inky-type leverage on a micro account and survive for 30 days with at least enough of the starting capital remaining to trade one microlot.

Can I do it? We shall see. The high energy forex Piker to Prince (or Pauper) bang em up thread is no more than one week away from launch.

    Bang!

if you look right now at the eur/usd and usd/jpy you can see it is setting up for the DOUBLE PENETRATION UP-THRUST-- HYBRID HOOP-DE-DO----

its not so much a divergence trade but more of a SPREADING MOMENTUM HYBRID SETUP

    interesting stuff
