Due to the fact that you can trade through multiple trading sessions that enable 24/7 trading (Sydney, Asia, Europe, US), there isnt an exact start of the day unless you talk about a specific session only.
Opening and closing trades by keeping in mind the sessions plays a key role to attain the per day trading goals.
You can say that based on four session timing, it made them looking like they are open for 24 hours daily. The market tend to get busier at the opening time of London and Asian session, if I am not wrong there.
Absolutely correct, but as far as the best forex trading time is concerned, then that’ll be when London and New York exchanges overlap. What session do you like the most?
I have been trading the New York session since day one, but now I will trade the Tokyo session despite knowing that it is the least happening of all 4 sessions. This session I’ve heard is very volatile, so I would like to take the benefit of the volatility and try to get something good out of it.
I love trading GBP/JPY, as it is one of the most liquid and stable pairs. It also provides tight spreads, which allows me to have bigger profits. I mostly trade when the market opens and closes because that’s when the volatility is at its maximum compared to other hours of the session.
I trade the New York session because it is known for its high liquidity, plus I trade only pairs having USD, so this session suits me. However, I can only spare 2 hours due to my shift.
