yes VPA is really the magic that makes the market maker naked......one day trading VPA and it has taken me to a different world
Sorry to beat the bush again. But could you please elaborate on why you felt this way? (Futures) Ive read through your other posts and it seems it has to with liquidity? Any other reasons I might have missed?
Xela, don't take this as an attack, as many people will, but why do you go out of your way to defend TST when you are a self-described institutional trader? It makes no sense. It's clear to me that you're a client. I can't imagine any Pro using TST.
Ok, I'll try not to. So however many times I say that I have no connection with TST, and that I've never used their service, and that I've never done a Combine, it's still "clear to you that I'm a client"? So you're saying that I'm repeatedly lying then ... you're publicly accusing me of lying and at the same time you're telling me "not to take it as an attack"?! Perhaps you genuinely imagine that calling someone a liar in public somehow, magically, becomes "acceptable behavior", if you preface it with an exhortation "not to take it as an attack"?! I have news for you: it doesn't. Of course not ... I can imagine plenty of aspiring pro's using it, though. It didn't even exist when I was learning, by the way. And it was in that spirit that I recommended it to a couple of friends of mine from university, both of whom passed Combines and both of whom are actually now trading for a living. As I've explained in a few other threads ... but you might not have read them: you're perhaps too busy making public accusations of dishonesty.
It's an honest, centralized market, without trading against counterparties, and there's reliable, meaningful volume information available.
I haven't read the vast majority of your posts, so I have missed your denials. I have not missed your 10s of thousands of characters devoted to TST. It's as simple as a search on your nick. I define "Pro" as anything from employed prop to legit buy-side. Your post quoted in my reply was over 2400 characters. I can't imagine any institutional trader following this nickel and dime sh*t (TST) so closely. Have you ever worked on the sell-side? IOW for a firm in a trading capacity; making markets? Have you ever worked on the buy-side as a PM?
And that's it, from you? A barrage of questions about my career? Not even a suggestion, not even the merest hint, of an apology for calling me a liar in public?!
I didn't call you a liar. I asked if you were NoDoji. You've stated that you are not. If it makes you feel any better; I am sorry for asking if you are NoDoji. I have. Both buy and sell-side. I was asking about you. I'd be happy to list the name of the firms for which I have worked. So you answer a question with a question? You feel barraged? It's essentially one question; have you worked as a professional?
You know perfectly well I'm not talking about that. After everything I've said, so repeatedly, about having no connection with TST you're still saying it's "clear" to you that I'm a client. That's calling me a liar. What makes you imagine that I'd be remotely interested in where someone as offensive and unpleasant as you has worked? I couldn't give a toss. Welcome to my "Ignore" list.
Your assertion presupposes that I have seen your denials that you "work" with TST. I have not. I clicked on your nick to produce your posting history and saw that a significant minority of your posts are dedicated to TST. I don't doubt that you've denied any association--just haven't seen the denials. So you state that you've worked on the institutional-side of the business? I doubt that.
