I am looking for daily forex data going back as far as possible. If anyone knows of good vendors please tell me.

How far back do you need? I just bought 1 min data for forex and indices on ebay couple weeks back. Forex goes back around 3 to 4 years.

 

How much for the data? On ebay.

 

$20 bucks. Do a search for "Historical Data" on ebay. You should be able to find it.

 

I was looking for it back to 1972, don't need 1 minute data just H,l,C. Also why can't I find anything on the AUD before 1986?

I was hoping to get it from a reliable source, so I don't want to do it from ebay.

 

I found some 'close' only data on forex going back as 1971. But looks like you need O,L, and H also. If I find anything, I will let you know.
