The fomo is unreal. People will pay any price for this no matter what and if it has the smallest dip they think they will get the guaranteed V (which they are getting). It will continue until there's a time where the dip buyers get punished for more than 1 day.
I'm shocked you don't believe that smci is nearing 1000!!!!! It's insanity.....there will be a drop that will create much fear, when it happens is anyone's guess but everything is being pushed to the limit. Every day. People keep paying higher to hopefully sell higher until the last guy who buys and then whammmm......
SMCI has the highest daily RSI I have ever seen. It is currently at 98.5. 75 is considered overbought. If you don't know the reason for its meteoric rise, it is that they are a very frugal server provider especially for the water cooled nVidia H100 cluster GPU set ups. In theory HPE & DELL should benefit but they are bloated pigs with too much dependency on global server sales. Due to continually bad reports by CSCO, HPE and others the broad server market hasn't yet turned. Even most of the semis aren't doing that well either, it is mainly NVDA, AMD, AVGO & TSM along with the semi equipment providers especially ASML. Today's news apparently is that BoA analyst set a price target of $1040.
Will there be the drop you expect? Is there even a limit? I mean you think they are gonna just let it crash. There is something different about it this time. That's why I started this thread in the first place. I have never seen anything like it before and this time is truly different.
It's not different, it never is, it just feels like it because of the upward trajectory of every stock at the moment.... It's even more massive this time because of how many more trillions the market is worth. Trust me trust me trust me, I have bought at tops many times, and when you do it definitely changes your mindset very quickly...
You won't even know we topped until markets are off over 17% ....if people think they felt pain over a silly 500 point sell off wait till they feel a 1000 or 2000 point 1 day sell off or a slow drop over 18 months of 23% then you will realize you should have sold and not have been so fu*king piggish!!
SMCI management should do a 20:1 stock split. At $50 the r/wsb retail crowd will gobble it up. It'll be $1000 no time just like TSLA in 2020.
