Foreigners are to blame for the US mess

  1. No. As Americans we will genetically modify lettuce to grow taller so we do not have to bend over to harvest it.

Or we will get the great John Deere company to make a 500 horsepower, smog and co2 emitting monstrosity to harvest our lettuce easily and quickly.

Any time we have to do manual labor we get someone else to do it, or we invent something to do it for us. We are Americans damn it!

There is that foreign thinking again that is ruining this great country.

Let this line of thinking run unchecked and the next thing you know is some foreigner will want an M60 MBT run on bio fuel.

    Can you imagine that.
An M60 running out of gas in Iraq because a tree hugger was given the vote.

    Foreigners. Throw the bums out.

And I have got my eye on you brocklanders.
It will be the other side of the fence for you as well.

Two down and only 303 million to go.
And it is not even 9:30 in the morning.

Worthless thread, even if the OP was intending to be sarcastic, which after reading his follow up posts it appears he was not.

No, I think we're the fat ones... europeans and canadians have much lower bmi's... that's from my unscientific poll of foreign chics

Probably true... we have LOTS of fast food options (deluge of advertising for McDonald's-like eating)... and our children no longer get any exercise. We are wealthy enough (or have gone into debt enough) such that video games have sadly replaced play and sports.

Maybe our epidemic of diabetes will dramatically shorten the life expectancy of our citizenry in the next couple of generations and solve our healthcare "crisis"?
