Foreigners are fascinated with our politics. Why?

I agree ... envy certainly doesn't drive the interest in American politics ...


Mine was a theory as to why Anti-Americans on this board seem to hail from abroad (or perhaps it is strategic... maybe they deserve more credit for their efforts)

 

I agree that a lot of anti-Americanism is due to envy.

I disagree that most anti-Americanism on this board comes from foreigners.

If you give me permission, I can confirm or deny what you're saying to the person claiming otherwise.

 

I have in the past, more than once. I'm in Calgary.

 

Question for Americans:

Do you believe anti-Americansim by Americans has, for the most part, originated or increased due to the economic/financial crash over the past two years or so?

 

Then that would correct the original stats I reported in the first post, if you are indeed American. You were one of the five I listed as Canadian. So it should only read 4 Canadians and 3 Americans - just to set the record straight.

 

I think there's no question it's increased.
